These all-metal pedals look nice and solid. They seem a good deal for the price, though mine arrived nearly too tight to use. They can be adjusted, if you have any experience with pedals, hubs, or bottom brackets (or any cone and bearing assembly). Just take the dust caps off - pry up with a pen knife. Loosen the nut underneath the dust cap (it's metric) and take it off. There is a washer below (which can stay in). You should see another 6-sided nut under that washer. You simply jamb a medium or large flathead screwdriver in to grab one of the six sides, and spin to tighten or loosen. You can also just use the screwdriver to hold while you spin the axle.

Final adjustments are tricky. If the inner nut holds (the one you are adjusting with the screwdriver) you can simply put the outer nut back on. But sometimes tightening that nut tightens up the whole axle, and you are back where you started. So you over-loosen the inner nut, until the axle wiggles a bit, then put the outer nut on and tighten firm, and hope you get it right. Like I said, a simple affair if you've done this before. Maddening if not. I got mine adjusted with only 2-3 tries each.
