I bought these tires for urban biking. I traded out my old mountain bike tires for these hybrids and immediately felt a difference. The smoother texture allows for better speed on the streets but still has enough grip and width to handle the potholes. I think the price was extremely reasonable. They are puncture resistant but not puncture proof. For a few weeks I was riding through a big construction area and caught a shard of metal that popped my tire. This was about 8 months ago though and have not had a single problem with the same pair since. I would highly recommend these if you need reliable tires for street, side walk, and pot hole ridden terrains.
