I bought these tires for a Bike Tour from Seattle, Washington to Sea Isle City, NJ. I was able to ride 2600 miles on a set of these tires (before replacing them both in Columbus, OH) - across trail, highway, train tracks, smooth asphalt, garbage littered shoulders, up curbs, dirt paths, and short stretches of grass. Through all this I was very fortunate and only had two flat tires. I am no cycling expert - but I have ridden across America, and I wouldn't consider doing it again on any other tires. I give them my highest recommendation. If you purchase them - I hope you have the same great results that I did.
