Seacoast Basic 28Oz Review

This is a very no nonsense water bottle for your bike. Three key things: 1) the bottle, of course, is huge. 28 oz is a lot of water. 2) The mouth of the bottle is huge as well, so that you can put ice cubes right in. This is key for keeping the water cold for a long time. 3) Finally, and pretty importantly, there is no plastic-y smell or taste in the water. I've had these for a couple of weeks now, and they don't smell or anything. The water tastes just fine.

And, of course, these bottles are cheap, cheap, cheap! Always a plus.

I bought this product to use on a vintage Centurion that I bought and restored. It had no mount points for a water bottle cage. It's not that the Gizmo costs a lot, but the mount system is no better and no more secure than if you took some rubber tire tube and wrapped it around your down or seat tube and used a couple zip ties to mount the cage.

FSA Pro Road 9/10s 46t 110mm Black Chainring (Use w/36t) Review

My bike is an all-aluminum utility/road bike and given my particular circumstances, I could not take advantage of 50/11 or 50/12 offered by the factory gearing, and I found the jump from 50/13 to 50/15 to be a bit much. By changing the 50T to a 46T, those issues disappeared and my riding experience improved quite measurably. I am less fatigued during longer rides and I don't notice the bike as much. Installation was simple and straight forward ~ no specialty tools are absolutely required, though a chainring bolt tool and metric hex wrenches help a lot :)

What I had to do:
Remove old chain ring
Install new chain ring
Lowered front deraileur by ~1cm
Adjusted cable tensions/Shifters
I did not need to shorten the chain

Original Configuration:
Crankset: FSA Gossamer Compact 50/34, 175mm
Cassette: SRAM PG-950 11-26, 9-speed
Bottom bracket: FSA Mega Exo
Shifters: Shimano Tiagra
Front Deraileur: Shimano Tiagra

Note:
1) Shifting is just fine even with the 34T inner, as another reviewer mentioned.

Nutcase Shark Attack Water Helmet, Small/Medium Review

Bought the Nutcase helmets for my fiancé and myself for our 2nd Kitesurfing holiday in Egypt (Nabq Bay). As early intermediates, we thought we needed helmets and the selection in shops was pretty poor. The Nutcase helmets were a breath of fresh air and make wearing them fun. The helmets are really well made and seem to have really been designed by watersports people... for example, the magnet clasp is so easy to do up and release but doesn't compromise safety when chin strap is pulled down. Extra foam pads are included to tailor to your own head shape... I think these are great products but do look out for the 'water' versions compared to the 'land only' versions. I nearly ordered a land only version and they are very different. We've just returned and were really pleased with our nuts being protected :-)
We also used these with the Go-Pro GoPro HD HERO2: Outdoor Edition (2011 Model) water camera and got some stunning video on the kites from our head placed camera!

The Nutcase Water helmet is highly recommended.

Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie Medium 54cm Silver Review

I've done a lot of research online finally end up noticing this bike. It is an good bike for the starter definitely.

Pros: Sharp looking, Light, Easy to assemble.
Cons: Parts are cheap(worth the money) but easy to upgrade.

Packaging is good. All parts are covered with plastic covers or proper protection and it reached my home unharmed at all. Though the box had some piercing.

I'll recommend this bike to anyone who is new to a rode bike.

Problem Solvers Locking Headset Spacer, 8mm BLK Review

It just works. I used it instead of a star nut in a new fork. Put this at the bottom of the stack of headset spacers, but don't tighten it. Use the star nut to first tighten the headset bearings, then tighten the locking headset spacer and loosen or remove the star nut. Now you can fiddle around with the handlebar stem without having to adjust the headset bearings.

I got this seat mainly because it was inexpensive and it matched my bike. To my surprise, it's also very comfortable. I've ridden about 30 miles on it already and at the end of the day, my bum is in good shape.
