I put some aerobars on my bike for triathlons and I could barely get my computer to fit inside the aerobars. I wanted to move the aerobars closer in to be more aerodynamic so I picked this up. It fits snug, holds the computer nicely, and only slides if you push hard on the computer. So it isn't a vice-like grip as it is all plasctic, but its inexpensive and works quite well.

When I first unpacked it, it seemed kind of small, but it works well for my computer, which is a small 2-button, watch-sized, Specialized Turbo. I seriously doubt that one of those monsterous, I-pod sized computers would have enough room to mount.
