I stopped drinking bottled water years ago. Finding a reusable non plastic water bottle at the time was not as easy as it is now. My 27 oz Klean Kanteen has served it's purpose well. The cold water I put in at 5 am tastes just as good (and cold) three hours later. I hate the plastic container taste not to mention the thought of what seeps into the water when you leave it in a car for a few hours in warmer months. I purchased several for my active family and boyfriend. Years later, we're all still carrying our 1st stainless steel water bottle over plastic.

Not 5 stars because sometimes I close the top too tightly and find it really difficult to get it open again. And this is not an insulated canteen. Whatever temperature it's stored in will be the apprx temperature of the liquid inside. Not the canteen for hikers, bikers, climbers if you want to keep liquids cold/hot for long periods of time.
