These shorts worked well for a sprint tri I did. Make sure you order your size or up a size - they do fit tight (as they should). I usually wear either a Medium or Large (I'm a 8/10), and the Large was definitely the right size for me (not loose at all). Also one other note is that they do dip down a little in the front. If you're looking for something to pull high over your belly, these will not do that. The padding was very light and overall the shorts dried quickly, despite the cold weather. So a good product in my opinion!
