Michelin Pro3 Optimum Rear tire Black 700x25 Review

Same rubber as Pro3's with a little extra on the rear to remove the hassle of tire rotation. Fast, xlnt rolling resistance, grips the road allowing breath taking cornering. Oh yeah, absorbs bumps and gravel rocks like a cushion instead of hopping or jumping over them giving you a smooth comfy ride. I've put a 1000 miles on them with no flats.

On 12/19/11, I purchased a 2nd rear, removed the first to use as backup. I'm glad I did as the 2nd tire sidewall gave out on 01/25/12 with under 200 miles. Clipping along on a debri free road @ 22 mph, I hear a pop, feel a little wiggle and knew I had a flat. Since I was 5 miles from home it was time to do a roadside repair. I removed the tire and found an 1/8" tear on the sidewall. WTF! Notified BikeWagon who immediately issued an RMA for a warranty exchange with Michelin. Xlnt custy service as BW issued a warranty exchange el pronto; no hassles, no debating back-n-forth, BW just understood the problem and did the exchange. How's that for great custy service!
