this saddle is cheap, light, and hard.

if you are going for style and NOT comfort (as i am in my bike fix-up project), then this is a great seat. it's bright pink and sleek. it is also HARD. i ride a bike every day, so i'm no stranger to what saddles feel like. on a quick 5-mile ride, this one redefined the painful spots in my sit bones. yow! the more i ride, the less painful it is, so there is certainly a break-in period for my body to get used to it.

you can't see the logo in the picture, but there is a big origin 8 logo on the top, which was a disappointment to me as i thought it was going to be a plain seat. another disappointment is that the blue from my dark jeans has rubbed off on and stained the seat after only 10 miles. i'm not sure that is the fault of the plastic, but just keep that in mind if you're buying a light-colored seat.

also, this saddle is very plastic and has no frills. but it's actually quite sturdy. i have no complaints or concerns about it falling apart any time soon. all in all, it's a well made cheap seat--but make no mistake, it's a cheap seat.
