I like the flare off to the side - they feel great on my Salsa Cowbell 2 handlebars.I used the included spacer to make them mount in the more "modern", flat position. Makes them feel very similar to my previous Cane Creek levers, with a little more rise up top.
I knocked off one star for the hoods - they could be longer; they way they are now they expose a little bit of metal underneath that was harder to cover with the bar tape.
