Yes, this was a bit difficult to install on the rim. But, your getting a thick, strong tire. I bought my first one from a bike shop, to replace my rear tire, that was always getting flats. Then the 2nd tire from Amazon, because the price was so much cheaper. Now I have front and back with the Pilot trackers. You may notice the tire will be a bit heavier than most. But, what do you want? A flat tire or a good reliable bike ride. Looks like I will be using these tires from now on. Have not had a flat, so far. But, just to look and feel these tires, you know they are made well. My tires before, were too thin and flimsy. The Pilot tracker is thick and firm.I also took the advise, from a reviewer. Before, installing this tire, let it lay out in the sun for an hour. It will go on much easier.
Update: I just ordered 2 more of these tires. Why? Because I have been riding every week for a year and not one flat tire.
