I have to agree with the other reviews on how hard it is to assemble. The right and left support bars are not bent correctly. I had to use a wrench and pliers to force the bars to align enough to screw them together. The rest of the assembly was hard, too. But when it was all together, I put my 2 yr. old in the seat (with helmet), had my 5 yr. old get on his bike (with helmet), and (with my helmet on, too) away we went around the block. My 5 yr. old is so excited Mommy can ride a bike with him now, and my 2 yr. old loves the ride. The assembly is hard, but the joy it gives my children is worth it. The box the carrier came in states that the carrier will hold a child UP TO 40 LBS., which is why I bought this particular carrier in the first place. My child is 30 lbs.
