My bike came equipped with Maxxis Ignitor tires and I had 3 flats in 9 months. Keep in mind I ride on park trails and neighborhood streets around Toledo so there's no rock hopping etc. I swapped out to these tires and have had no flats in 4 months. They give a slightly heavier feel to the bike but I ride for exercise not competition so it doesn't matter to me. Happy to be able to ride home rather than have to walk or call for a pick up.
