These tires are a commuters best friend. On my 29er these have adequate width to provide a comfortable ride. The continuous center strip in the tread with 65 PSI is plenty hard for fast rolling on pavement. The round profile makes hard pack dirt and dry pavement cornering consistent. They are built like tanks. Yes they are heavy. These ties will not puncture unless you run over a vertical nail. Go ahead and ride you feather light racing tires. I'll wave as I pass by while you are sitting on the side of the road changing your flat. You can borrow my (unused) tire levers.

The tire profile gets very narrow when fully inflated so can be prone to sinking into sand or loose gravel. Let out some air if using these where sandy patches may exist. Then max them out when on dirt roads or pavement.

While these are not full on winter tires, they work well on hard pack snow. Wet pavement cornering is a bit sketchy, probably due to the large knob spacing on the sides reducing the contact patch. A road slick corners better on wet pavement - that's what slicks are for. But the Land Cruisers can go straight from pavement to trail with no fuss.
