I use these on my recumbent trike tadpole. I bought the bike used and they were on it, when they wore out I replaced them. The new ones had better grip and really helped the positive feeling on turns. They are a smooth tread but very grip-y on pavement wet or dry - never found a problem yet - but on a trike the tires are "turning left or right" instead of "leaning" as a regular bicycle does. I usually run 75 pounds pressure, but the sidewalls say up to 100. So far, no problems with punctures on either pair as sand spurs are sometimes a problem where I ride. Ha, they sure crush acorns though!

I'm waiting to see how many miles I can get out of them.

Follow up Dec 29, 2012: this set lasted 125 miles - much less than I expected in my light duty riding so I'm taking down to to 4 stars. My trike could be "scruffing" them more than a regular bicycle, so your mileage may vary. I now believe the Minits Tough are more of a racing tire with a softer tread. My new set is Kenda Kwest with a normal tread, I immediately noticed more tread noise and more water spray on wet pavement. I will post a review there on mileage.
