Deda Elementi Zero1 Stem: 80mm; White; 31.7 Review

I switched from my Specialized stem to the Deda Stem for a few reasons. 1, I needed a shorter stem. My current stem was too long at 110mm. So i needed one that is 100mm. 2, not many stems come in a full red color. Im glad one company took the time to make one. 3, Was also looking to remove some weight off my bike in anyway that i could. This stem is slightly lighter than the basic(standard) stem that specialized places on their entry level roadbikes. I believe it could be a specialized comp stem. This Deda stem is made of good quality, looks great, and is slightly lighter. not a noticeable lightweight stem that will suprise you but i guess for a 100mm stem and the price you pay for, it is acceptable. I believe the website has it at 166g. Not sure how light stems can get but the value, quality, appearance all pass the test. Dont get me wrong, the weight is good but i was expecting a huge difference compared to my specialized stem. Im Happy and satisfied with my purchase of the Deda Zero1 stem. :)
