Kenda Karvs Road Tire (700x25mm, Black) Review

On the first warm day this spring, I was riding to work. The road was wet and a bit oily when a car pulled out in front of me from a side street. I braked (yes, I use brakes my fixed gear) and swerved to avoid the car, but my road slicks couldn't hold on the wet road and down I went.

So, I changed out the road slicks for the Kenda Karvs, and I have not been disappointed. These tires corner beautifully even in wet conditions. I prefer higher tire pressures, and these can be inflated to 100psi. I'm going to buy a second set to put on my geared road bike.

I don't skid, so I cannot testify about that, but these tires are excellent for road cycling in wet conditions. I have not experienced any flats in the first few months of use. ---johnyboy's spouse
