Got the Showers Pass Storm Jacket 6 weeks ago mainly to have with me in case of fall showers. Turns out it is the perfect wind stopper/improved visibility layer on top of my Gore Phantom Jacket II for those nasty cold and dark Minnesota mornings. Were talking 10-20F (-8 to 0C) and I am perfectly comfortable with Base Layer, Short Jersey, Gore Phantom II and the Showers Pass over that. So I wear it almost every day - only once in rain so far, where it performed very well.

Jacket comes only in neon yellow, not my first choice initially, but it really does increase visibility - good for those rides in the dark.
The fit is true to size - I wear an M Jersey and first got an L with the layers underneath in mind. L was way too big and baggy so I exchanged for my usual M. There is still plenty of room to put layers underneath - it's not a race cut jacket and will flap somewhat if you go downhill at 35mph.

The wearing comfort and breathability is much better than I expected from a rainPROOF jacket. Of course it gets humid inside, but it's not dripping down when I take it of and I have ridden 90min + in the Storm Jacket and was comfortable without the 'garbage bag' feeling you may sometimes get in those rain-skins.

Packability is great, comes with a pouch that can be hooked to a backpack or the like. Pouch makes it a sausage of about 7in/16cm long and 2in /5cm in diameter which fits the Jacket (folded in third and rolled up) easily and can be further compressed. Fits the big Jersey pocket with a bit of squeezing.

Bottom line: Very good, highly packable rain- and windproof jacket that serves well not only in rain but as a wind-stopper and wears surprisingly comfortable. Highly recommended
