Product Description

SKS B45 fender sets are produced with the smaller wheels in mind. The fender sets can be used on any bikes using 20" wheels. All that is required is that the bike has the required fixation points to attach the fenders. The front stays are equipped with ASR safety clips to protect the rider if a stick where to get caught in the front wheel.

The one other review on this item gave these fenders 2 stars because you had to trim the fender stays to fit. I've only ever installed three other sets of fenders (two SKS and one Velo Orange) and both times I had to trim the stays. These stays are strong but can be trimmed with a hacksaw, a dremel tool, or a pair of heavy wire cutters or lineman's pliers like I did.

The other reviewer is correct, the instructions are in German but the installation is fairly self explanatory even for a guy like me, who installed these after drinking a fair amount of wine at dinner with friends.

It took about 15 minutes to put these on and they fit very well.

For the record, they fit fine on my Dahon Speed Uno with 20-inch wheels and do not hamper the folding action.

I would recommend these to anyone installing fenders on a folder who isn't afraid to trim the stays.
