Although I was a little worried about buying a giraffe unicycle a third of the price of Nimbus' "performer" giraffe (really the only other option in buying a mass produced 5 footer), I went for it. When I opened the box, I was very surprised with the quality of the unicycle. The paint looked awesome, the wheel looked mean, and the seat looked cooler than expected. Putting it together was a pretty quick process. Learning to ride was quite a cinch as expected (if you've been riding a normal uni for a few years, you'll do great). There is one issue, though: if the nut that keeps the wheel sprocket from spinning happens to come slightly loose, the sprocket will spin without the wheel if given too much torque while pedaling. Don't worry though, loosening the nut and adding some epoxy to the threads solves the problem (you'll need a spanner wrench or some craftiness to loosen it. it's the gray nut that's about 2 inches wide on the sprocket on the wheel). Don't let this keep you from buying it. You can't beat the price! I've had it epoxied for over a month now, and it hasn't slipped again. Get yourself one, you won't regret it!
