As an beginning rider (moer or less), I find it hard to pick out specific differences between one tire and the next. I can say that these are lighter than the stock non-folders I had, but I have never had such a tough time getting a tire onto a wheel as I did with these. I have a set of Diamante Pro (non-Radiale) and they went on and off easily. These were a PAIN IN MY A$$ and my thumbs hurt for a couple days.They're wearing well - I've only put about 150 miles on them - I can corner pretty quickly on roads of dodgy cleanliness and quality, even titled over as far as I can go while pedaling. These have tiny little grooves cut into them so you'd probably call them a semi-slick, but they're so subtle that it might as well just be a full on racing slick.
