I purchased this 2 in 1 Double Pet Trailer to haul two small dogs while I walked two big dogs. The assembly was easy and the conversion from the stroller to the bike trailer is a snap. I have very large (90 lb.) Standard Poodles to walk daily. I also have two small dogs, a 17 lb. Malti-poo and a 8 lb. Maltese to walk as well. I actually purchased the stroller for the Maltese, but the Malti-poo loves to ride in it, too. We start out with all four dogs walking, but after a short while the Maltese, with his small legs cannot keep up so into the stroller he goes. It's fantastic! The poodles get to stretch their legs and go at a full-on stride and the Maltese feels like one of the big dogs! The Malti-poo is extremely athletic and can keep up with the poodles, but enjoys the ride. I was impressed with the construction-it's a very sturdy vehicle and feels much more expensive than what I paid for it. I also like the storage pockets where I keep the extra parts for converting to the bike trailer and the extra pocket serves as storage for our much needed poopie bags! Not only is this a functional product that serves my needs and the needs of my pets, but it's a great looking product as well! I would buy this again if I needed another. One note: The tires are pneumatic meaning they need air. A bike tire pump works just fine, but I actually filled my tires at a gas station the first time. Be sure not to over inflate!

Usually, new technology trickles down, but in this instance, Shimano trickled up technology from the 10-speed XT group. And this XTR Trail 3x10 Hollowtech II Crankset FC-M980 is the first 10-speed specific XTR triple crank. It's different than an XTR 970 crank in a number of ways. First, it's lighter by about 50 grams, and it's hard to beat the sinister, throwing star aesthetic when you compare it to the static-looking radial arms of the old spider. Other changes include a move back to pinch bolts for the left side crankarm to fix it to the splined Hollowtech II spindle. Gone is the threaded preload collar from the XTR 970 crank. The pinch bolt design better separates the functions for bearing preload and securing the crank. Like the last generation XTR cranks, the FC-M980 XTR Cranks use Shimano's Hollowtech II hollow cold forging process. This makes for a crankarm assembly that's lighter and stronger than traditional solid forgings. The outer chainring is hollow as well, and the advanced 3D shape is stiffer and more resistant to deflection when you're trying to make quick shifts up to the big ring. The chainrings are shaped according to Shimano's HG-X tooth profile design. What this means is that the shifting has been optimized to work with the new HG-X 10-speed XTR chain. The middle ring is still a composite of carbon and titanium to add rigidity for better shifting, increased service life, and smooth power delivery to the cassette out back.The XTR Trail 3x10 Hollowtech II Crankset FC-M980 comes in four crankarm lengths -- 165, 170, 175, and 180mm. Okay, if you have other Scalextric slot cars, you know what these are all about. This set of two are fully chromed and ready to roll, if you have an older style Scalextric track set. In my case, I have a fully digital Scalextric track capable of handling six cars concurrently. If you have a digital set, you will need to separately purchase the digital controllers for these cars. If you read the instructions carefully, you'll see that you will require two types. One is easy to install as its purely (remove one screw, unplug the cable, plug cable into replacement cover, slide in place and screw to close... done).

The Mercedes however is a whole different beast, and requires a bit more effort... for it you have to fully dissassemble the car, and follow some pretty detailed instructions to change the lead from the brushes to the power supply, install a small board with an led light through a hole in the base of the car, then wire the replacement circuit board to the motor. As the wires from the brushes are both the same colour, you need to temporarily hook up the wires and test it on the track to ensure that when you press the trigger it goes forward and not backward. If it goes forward, permanently solder your connections to the wires, screw the car back on the chassis and you're done. If it goes forward, just reverse the wire connections, solder, assemble and you're done.

A bit of extra effort, but I got through it in about half an hour.

Wonderful set, arrived in excellent condition, and love the way they look on the track. The Bughati has clear headlights red tail lights; the Mercedes has amber headlights and red tail lights. Really, really nice. Yes, I'd recommend... but for doing the hookups, make sure this is done by someone at least in their teens... not something for little kids to tackle.

Schwinn Boy's Scorch Bike, Red, 16-Inch Review

We purchased this bicycle for our grandson for Christmas. Most of the assembly went smoothly, even though the instructions are quite inadequate; they need to be edited and clarified. Our main problem was the front fork and tire assembly. The tire in no way would mount on the bicycle. The metal tubing of the fork is either manufactured wrong, or the axle and tire are configured wrong. Either way, we could NOT get the tire to mount onto the bike. That being said, I just got off the phone with an Amazon rep. who was amazing! He arranged for a replacement bike to be sent out (at no charge) and it will be here before Christmas. =) He did mention that if this replacement bike has the same problem, then a recall might need to be issued. Will update this review after we have new bike assembled and critiqued. In the meantime,....Merry Christmas! Peace on Earth! Goodwill to all men!

Update: 01/02/2013 - We received the replacement bike and it assembled with no problem whatsoever. We packaged up the first bicycle, affixed the return label and dropped it off at our local UPS store. We're very satisfied with Amazon's help and customer service.

2400Lm Bike Headlight Bicycle Light, HeadLamp with 1x CREE XM-L T6 LED + 2x XPE R2 LED Light with Charger and Battery Included Review

First off, the box I received said it was 1800 lumen, not the advertised 2400. "Ok", I said, "I'm just an average guy and probably can't tell the difference between 1800 and 2400 lumen anyway", but still feels like I've been lied to.

Feelings aside, this thing is very bright. As in, so bright only the first main light is really needed. Which is good, because when all 3 are activated for longer than a couple of minutes, they shut off and won't come back on unless you unplug it from the battery. I don't know whether I got a defective unit, or what, there were no instructions that accompanied it. The main Cree light(which is really all you need and can be obtained for half the price of this one) is indeed powerful, and I feel makes me much more visible to oncoming traffic. The light reached signs a good 200 yards down the road, and the beam has a decent spread to it, illuminating most of the path you're on.

The mounting hardware(if you can call it that), is a few rubber bands that hook onto the light at opposite ends, and then one loops it around the handlebar. My handlebar is already pretty cramped, so my light is kinda wedged between some things, but I feel alone, it isn't very stable. I prefer the method with an actual mounting clip with foam and a screw. This leads to the light riding upwards if you're on rough terrain, possibly leaving the trail in pitch blackness.

As other reviews may have mentioned, on a full charge the light doesn't last more than a couple of hours(that's generous), but it does come with a wall plug adapter to charge it where-ever you can.

One neat thing though is the button changes colors based on what mode you're in, and the charge of the battery, so that's handy, but I feel this might have a draining effect as well, so you might wanna unplug it when not directly in use or you may come to find a useless light when time to go home.
